Ideas for live shop presentations: Small Mammals Show
First Floor, Foyer
The presentation “Small mammals” is intended to provide ideas for traders and the industry on how to show potential pet owners the fascination of small mammals. Klaus Oechsner, President of the Zentralverband Zoologischer Fachbetriebe e.V. (ZZF), presents some twenty terrariums of his own design at DeZooFa. Animals such as Chinese striped lemmings, dwarf hamsters and Persian gerbils can be seen in glass display terrariums, in a hexagonal enclosure and in a cage with running boards. Oechsner has designed three different top units for the terrariums, with a rustic to modern appearance. The prototypes are on sale at the exhibition. One area of the special show is to house a night cage for rodents, in which the nocturnal sugar gliders can be seen.
